Privacy Policy
1. Information We Collect
Account info you provide directly: username, email, optional full name and date of birth. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile picture from Google. Daily snapshot data you log: mood, energy, sleep, screen time, income/expenses/savings, goals, decisions, and similar self-reported metrics. This data is self-reported personal reflection, not medical or financial records.
2. How We Use Your Data
To calculate your VEKTRA score, generate reports, and provide the service you sign up for. To generate AI narrative reports, relevant portions of your logged data (not your name or contact details) are sent to Anthropic's Claude API for processing under Anthropic's own data handling terms.
3. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on our hosted database infrastructure and transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections. We use standard security practices, but no system is 100% secure.
4. Third Parties We Use
Anthropic (AI report generation), Stripe and Paystack (payment processing — we never see or store your full card/M-Pesa details), Google (Sign-In authentication and web fonts), Cloudflare (content delivery for a library used to generate shareable images), and our hosting providers. If you arrived via a TikTok ad, TikTok's advertising pixel receives limited browser/device signals for ad measurement — see our Cookie Policy for detail. We do not sell your personal data to data brokers.
5. Your Rights
You can export your logged data as CSV/JSON, or permanently delete your account and all associated data, at any time from Settings within the app. You can also request correction or deletion by emailing vektraapp@gmail.com if you're unable to access the app.
6. Cookies and Local Storage
See our Cookie Policy for full detail. In short: we use browser local storage (not cookies) for login sessions and preferences, and do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
7. Children's Privacy
VEKTRA is not intended for children under 13, and accounts/subscriptions require you to be 18 or the age of majority in your jurisdiction (see Terms). We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
8. International Data Transfers
Our service providers (hosting, AI, payments) operate infrastructure in multiple countries, so your data may be processed outside your home country.
